Here are a few more macroesque shots of dead things resisting falling over in the daily rain. In other news, I just decided I want to do macro shots of cheese solely for the purpose of being able to call it “Macro-ni and cheese.”
And on that note, onto the pictures.
I love the spider web that makes bridges from cluster to clusterOne of the few last spots of bright color. The stem was naturally that purple as well.Though they don’t look appetizing, the dead black berries make complex, burned, and alien terrain if you look close enough.
Great shots! I love how stems tend to look purple in photos. I’ve had fights with people about that before, and you’re unintentionally backing me up, so thank you! :p
Seriously, these are just completely breath-takingly beautiful.
Wowza, thank you for the compliment 🙂
Great shots, the red berry reminds me of the pods that ‘grow’ humans in the old Matrix movie series. Weird how the mind works… 😉
Great photos, nice cheesy pun too 😀
Bring on the Macro – ni and cheese! (nice photos!)
I love your botanicals – gloriously dark yet distinct, and the aperture settings are perfect
Ho-ho.. Macro-ni!! 😛 *Wishing a funny boy a fun Christmas 😀

These photos are great!
I like them! I look closely at this stuff all the time…these have a really nice feeling.
Great photos! What camera and lens did you use?
Thanks! I shoot about 90% of everything on an 18-135mm
