A couple of weeks ago I was working on a job doing fireman training videos in a fire house. About half way through the day we had about a half hour to kill between shots because we got ahead of schedule and the talent for the next set hadn’t shown’t up yet. So this left me with free roam with my still camera in the station for a little while, and here’s what I got!

With hot hits and soft fills the large windows made for ideal conditions as I skittered about.

Although it may not look like it, it was definitely pouring rain outside. Also, for those who aren’t familiar with fire houses or haven’t had the chance to badger firemen with questions, that pipe that runs up the center of the shot connects the truck exhaust into a ventilation system so that they can run the engines inside without becoming in fumigated . It sit’s on a slide track so it doesn’t have to be manually removed when the truck heads out, it just pops of at the pressure of the truck pulling out.
