It’s been very busy lately. But amidst the general chaos of living in the 21st century, I’ve managed to built a couple projects. This is from a fun monthly event that has just taken on the name “Bike Night.” For 5 hours, on the first Friday of every month, the Mill Creek Skate Park goes from skateboards only, to bikes only.
If you’re interested in the music, it’s from Human Pyramids! It’s a fantastic 3 track demo that can be found right here!
The slow mo was shot on an Sony FS700, the time lapse on a Cannon 30d, and everything else on a Cannon 7d!
Editing was all done in Premiere Pro CS6 and the type was set in Illustrator.
This is the first time I ever brought my camera to a show. let alone a show that I was so excited for. I went down to Seattle a couple hours early to buy tickets and get a drink before the show. At the first bar I realized that I had forgot my CF card in my computer from my last photo dump. This resulted in about 10 minutes of palm to forehead before I realized that I had a back up hidden in my camera bag just for the event of my forgetting my card. So The night commenced!
The opening band was one of my favorites. The Grizzled Mighty. When they took the stage they were nothing short of awesome, I would have made the trip down just to see them, but to get to see them with Reignwolf, MMMMMMMM…. delicious.
This is a puzzle test. The for the first to get it, I will illustrate anything of their choosing to the best of my ability! You can all work together.
Your hints are language and games. And it is a lyric from a well known band.
I spend a good bit of time browsing the internet for little nuggets of gold. But there’s almost always one that stands out much more than all others. As of now, I’ll start sharing the best thing that I find during the week every Friday. Why Fridays you ask? At my last job, we would finish every Friday with a video to end the work week and greet the weekend. Now you all can too (without having to dig through the internet yourself)
That being said, this is one of the best music videos that I’ve ever seen. It’s very funny, with just enough sentimentality that it’ll stick with you. Enjoy!
