Dead Girl Glowing Tee!

Printed freshly today! The Dead Girl shirt! The folks over at fingers Duke were printing these late into the evening so they could have them ready for a new t-shirt Tuesday.

Plus, it’s GLOW IN THE DARK. I’m going to turn out the lights where ever I go just so I can use it like a flashlight to see. I’m sure that I’ll have to be careful not to aim it directly at people so I don’t blind them (with awesome).

With lots of options!

I’m excited to see this design printed, or at all for a few reasons. This design was one I had done a couple of years ago (2010), and to have it show up again was quite my hearts delight! I was 100% sure that this was one of the designs that had gone up in smoke in the great 2011 digital fire and computer crash. So to get have it printed now, well, I did a merry little jig!
The initial conversation went sorta like this is a nutshell.

Fingers Duke, “Hey Joe, you remember that day of the dead girl that you designed a couple years ago? We were wondering if we could print those?”

Joe, “I wish you could my friends, but alas they have left the digital realm and only exist on a higher plain now.”

Fingers Duke, “Come again?”

Joe, “They got deleted when my computer and backup went down.”

Fingers Duke, “Oh, weeellll, we just found a copy of the files on one of our computers, so we can just print from that.”

Joe, “…….Awesome….” ¬† ¬†Then the single tear rolled down my cheek as I realized that maybe life was more like the movies than I had acknowledged.

All that aside they’re a very cool shirt that is very appropriate for the halloween season. Also they are printed in a verity of styles ranging from tee to hip loose sweatshirt type deal.

You can also see them on the Fingers Duke blog or even purchase one (or all of them) here!

Find of the week 4/6/12 / Is Tropical – The Greeks

I spend a good bit of time browsing the internet for little nuggets of gold. But there’s almost always one that stands out much more than all others. As of now, I’ll start sharing the best thing that I find during the week every Friday. Why Fridays you ask? At my last job, we would finish every Friday with a video to end the work week and greet the weekend. Now you all can too (without having to dig through the internet yourself)

That being said, this is one of the best music videos that I’ve ever seen. It’s very funny, with just enough sentimentality that it’ll stick with you. Enjoy!
